Why verification might not go through
There are a few common reasons verification doesn't go through on the first try:
A typo in the details you entered — double-check your information before trying again
No match was returned by our verification vendor for the details provided
If verification is unsuccessful, we're unable to manually override the result — this comes back from an automated check against our verification vendor, not a person on our end.
What happens if verification fails
Please make sure all required information is entered in full and free of errors before retrying. On your 3rd attempt, you'll have the option to upload a photo ID as an alternative way to verify.
What documents are accepted
For identification purposes, we accept a valid state-issued ID or US passport.
For payment method verification, you may be asked to show proof of account ownership.
How long verification takes
Standard account verification is instant and automated for the vast majority of new accounts — no manual review involved.
If you're asked to upload an ID and selfie, the process takes a few minutes.
