Can I share my account, device, or payment method with someone else?

Policy covering account, device, and payment method sharing restrictions, and the consequences of violating them.

Can I share my account, device, or payment method with someone else?

No. Betr accounts are strictly single-person: one account, on your own device, funded only by your own payment methods.

One Account Per Person

You may only have one Betr account. Joint or shared accounts are not permitted. Any attempt to establish a second account will be detected and blocked, and accounts set up illegitimately will be deactivated — any winnings could be forfeited.

No Device Sharing

Sharing a device between accounts is strictly prohibited for security purposes and is a violation of Betr's Terms and Conditions, regardless of intent. This includes creating accounts on the same device, logging into accounts through previously linked devices, or sharing access between accounts on a single device.

No Payment Method Sharing

You can only deposit, purchase, or withdraw using payment methods that belong to you. If you've already added or used a payment method that isn't in your name, contact Support so it can be removed from your account before it causes any restrictions.

Consequences

  • Accounts found to be sharing a device, account, or payment method are subject to a standard due diligence check and/or possible account closure.

  • Accounts engaged in device, account, or payment sharing are not eligible for certain promotions, such as the Refer-a-Friend program.

  • Additional consequences may include automatic denial of referral bonuses, restrictions on primary accounts, and potential account suspension or closure for persistent violations.
