Why do I need to verify my identity for Prediction Markets?
Prediction Markets are powered by Polymarket. Because Polymarket has its own identity verification requirements, your identity must also be verified for Prediction Markets — even if you've already completed verification with Betr.
The first time you access Prediction Markets, you'll be asked to review and accept the Prediction Markets Terms and Conditions. We'll then attempt to verify your identity automatically.
Why couldn't my identity be verified?
Identity verification for Prediction Markets is completed through Polymarket's verification system. If Polymarket is unable to verify your identity automatically, you may be asked to provide additional information, such as a photo of your ID or a selfie.
If you're asked to submit a photo of your ID, make sure:
Your ID is valid and not expired.
The entire ID is visible.
The photo is clear and well-lit.
There is no glare or anything covering important information.
Make sure the information you provide during verification is accurate and matches the information shown on your ID.
If you're still unable to complete verification, contact Betr Support and we'll help with the next steps.
Note: Prediction Markets verification is separate from your Betr account verification. An issue verifying your identity for Prediction Markets does not affect your access to other Betr products.
