If you have multiple payment methods linked to your Betr account, our payment processor will try to make sure the money returns to its original source before allowing additional funds to be withdrawn to a newer payment method. This is a security protocol to ensure the safety of your account and your funds.
This is referred to as the "Return-to-Source Policy," which ensures prior deposits are returned to their original payment method before funds can be withdrawn to alternative methods like Venmo, bank accounts, or debit cards.
To ensure successful withdrawals, you must have an active and valid payment method linked to your Betr account. For Venmo users, a $10 deposit is required to link Venmo as a withdrawal option.
The app prompts you and lets you know exactly how much needs to go back to each payment method before all funds are completely freed up. Once you submit those required withdrawals, you will be able to withdraw the remaining funds to any payment method of your choice.
If a removed payment method still appears in your withdrawal options, try updating the Betr app to its latest version. After updating, log out and log back in to refresh your account information.
If you no longer have access to the account with the required distribution, please reach out to us at [email protected] or via the Help Center for further assistance.
Additionally, ensure that the app is updated and account information is refreshed via logout and login, as this may resolve the issue without contacting support.
