Combos give you a way to link several Prediction positions together into a single entry on Prediction on the Betr app, and they're built for traders who want more upside for more risk.
The concept
Instead of placing three separate trades across three separate markets, a Combo stitches those positions into one. Every leg has to land in your favor for the Combo to pay out. Miss on even one leg, and the whole thing falls apart. In exchange for that added risk, the payout on a winning Combo is meaningfully bigger than what you'd get placing each trade on its own.
Where the payout comes from
A Combo's payout comes from multiplying together the implied probability of each leg. The less likely it is that every leg lands, the bigger the number on the other side if it actually does.
One incorrect leg, though, and the entire Combo resolves as a loss. There's no partial credit.
Building one
Start on any market and select Combo.
Choose YES or NO on your first market.
Keep adding markets as additional legs.
Check the payout preview before you commit.
Set your amount and confirm the trade.
A few things worth knowing
Every leg needs to hit for a Combo to pay out, full stop. You're also not stuck holding it until the end, since Combo shares can be sold back at the current market price at any time before resolution, just like any other position. Right now, Combos only work on sports markets covering moneyline, spread, and total bets, though that's expected to expand. And if the button to place your Combo is grayed out, that usually just means no one is currently able to fill it. Try trimming a leg, lowering your trade size, or give it a bit of time for a market maker to step in.
If your cash out isn't going through
A few things commonly get in the way of cashing out a Combo. Thin liquidity is the biggest one: if there's no buyer at your price or size, the sale can't complete. Fast-moving prices are another, since a shift mid-order, or too little liquidity near your target price, can trigger guardrails meant to prevent a bad fill. And sometimes the cash out button is simply inactive because no one's currently quoting your position, which resolves itself once a buyer or market maker shows back up.
If you run into this, try selling in smaller chunks since those match more easily, and refresh the page to make sure you're looking at a current price before you submit.
