Why am I having Network connection issues?

If you are within state lines and have restrictions on playing Betr Sportsbook or Betr Picks, please make sure you are connected to WIFI or have cell service. You must also have Location Services turned on. This is especially important if you are near state borders, where location verification may be more challenging.

If you are experiencing connection or geolocation issues, we suggest the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Force Quit the App: Close the app completely and restart it to reset any temporary glitches

  2. Log out of your account: Logging out and back in can recalibrate the app's location services

  3. Update the App: Ensure you are using the latest version to avoid bugs or outdated features

  4. Uninstall VPN/ Rooted devices: These can interfere with accurate geolocation

  5. Uninstall the Betr app

  6. Restart your device

  7. Reinstall the Betr app: Reinstalling ensures that no corrupted data is interfering with geolocation

  8. Check your WIFI connection:

    • Turn Wi-Fi off and on

    • Connect to a different network if possible

    • Enable Wi-Fi even if you are not actively connecting to a Wi-Fi network (this helps with geolocation)

  9. Log back into your account
