Now that Predictions powered by Polymarket US is part of the Betr app, a common question comes up fast: is there a cap on how much you can trade?
Yes, some limits apply. Betr may also apply limits to your account. Under the Polymarket US Rulebook, Polymarket US may set a maximum order size for your account, and Combos have their own maximum order size. Polymarket US also sets position accountability levels for its contracts. For sports contracts, for example, the level is generally $25,000 of notional exposure. Above that level, the exchange may ask for information about your position and may require you to reduce it. Subject to these limits and controls, the order book pairs up buyers and sellers.
The catch is that size isn't guaranteed to move cleanly. A large enough order can shift the price as it fills, and if there's nobody on the other side willing to trade at your level, part or all of your order may not go through at all.
That's why it pays to check the order book before placing a bigger trade. Looking at how much liquidity sits at each price point, and how many buyers and sellers are active, gives you a clearer sense of how much size the market can actually absorb.

Predictions on Betr are event contracts listed on Polymarket US (QCX LLC), a CFTC-designated contract market, and cleared through Polymarket Clearing (QC Clearing LLC). Betr provides the app you use to access Polymarket US. Betr is not the exchange or a broker. Trading event contracts involves risk, and you can lose the full amount you pay for a contract, plus fees. Each contract is governed by its contract terms and the Polymarket US Rulebook (https://polymarketexchange.com/files/legal/latest/rulebook).
